CBD road closures for Christmas on the Terrace

The City of Greater Geraldton wishes to advise that there will be road closures in the CBD on Thursday 11 December to accommodate Christmas on the Terrace.

Event traffic management will be in place from 6am with the Durlacher Street/Foreshore Drive roundabout closed from 2pm for eastbound vehicles.

There will also be a hard closure from 2pm along Marine Terrace between Durlacher Street and Forrest Street for northbound traffic.

The following roads will be closed from 5pm to 9pm:

  • Marine Terrace from Forrest Street to Fitzgerald Street
  • Cathedral Avenue from Foreshore Drive to Chapman Road
  • Durlacher Street from Chapman Road to Foreshore Drive

Free parking will be available in the City’s CBD car parks, however parts of Lot 601 and Parking Station #1 (near Rocks Laneway) will have limited access. There will be additional ACROD parking allocated in these car parks for permit holders.

Members of the community are requested to exercise caution and obey all warning signs and directions from authorised City personnel and contractors.
