It wouldn’t be a festival without fireworks and this year local company Red Dust Holdings have come on board to sponsor a dazzling fireworks show for the Wind on Water Festival.

Running over the Easter long weekend, the fireworks will take place on the evening of Saturday 20 April, wrapping up the first night of the Festival.

City of Greater Geraldton Mayor Shane Van Styn said the fireworks would add an awesome atmosphere to the event.

“On Saturday night Festival-goers will enjoy Sunset Entertainment accompanied by a thrilling night show by Ultimate Watersports,” he said.

“It’s the perfect time to hit up the food trucks at ‘WoW Feast’, take in the local performers on the beach and then top it off by watching a speccy fireworks show.

“A big thank you goes out to the crew at Red Dust Holdings for coming on board to make this happen, we know it’s something the community absolutely love.”

Along with the Ultimate Watersports show kicking off from 7pm, Euphorium Creative will present Sunset Entertainment from 6-9pm.

Various local musicians and performers will be scattered along the beach with fire drums adding to the atmosphere.

The Red Dust Holdings fireworks show will begin at 9pm.

Wow Fest will take place on April 20 and 21. The RedFM WoW Fest Concert will conclude the event on Sunday 21 April with headline acts The Temper Trap and Tkay Maidza.

Tickets are still available and are just $30. To purchase tickets and to view a full program head to www.wowfest.com.au
