Fireworks will feature on Geraldton’s Australia Day 2024 programme thanks to local vehicle rental company Europcar WA.
Renowned for their friendly service and fleet range, Europcar WA is once again stepping up to sponsor the eagerly anticipated firework display.
City of Greater Geraldton Mayor Jerry Clune is excited to see the show.
“Fireworks are always popular, and we are deeply appreciative of Europcar WA for continuing to support this part of the event,” he said.
“We anticipate another respectful occasion on the Geraldton Foreshore as the community comes together this Australia Day.
“Thank you Europcar WA for making the fireworks possible.”
Europcar WA Geraldton Branch Manager Kerry Speed said the company is delighted to sponsor the display.
“We try to support the local community as much as possible, and the fireworks are a great way for us to get involved” he said.
“We don’t just want to be known for vehicle hire, we also want to be known as a company who gives back to the community where possible. “
Inclusive and respectful Australia Day events are planned for both Geraldton and Mullewa on Friday 26 January 2024.
The Europcar Fireworks Show is scheduled for 8.30pm but may vary due to weather conditions.
