Coastal Erosion Adaptation Concepts
Whitehill Road Boat launching Facility - Concept Investigations
The shoreline fronting Whitehill Road is under erosive pressure and requires mitigation or adaptation planning to determine the future management of the foreshore.
One such adaptation pathway that has been investigated is the construction of a boat launching facility which would serve the dual function of providing protection to the vulnerable portion of the foreshore whilst providing a boat launch facility.
This construction of a boat launching facility has been included as one of the coastal adaptation options in the Geraldton Coastal Hazard Risk Management Adaptation Plan Report.
