Webber Road School Bus Shelter Project

The City has received a request to install a bus shelter at the south end of Webber Road in Moresby.

In response, the City began investigating the request by contacting Northern School Bus Services who operate the ‘orange’ school bus service in the City who confirmed their buses stop in front of 50 Webber Road and that approximately 30 students use the service.

Given the high number of students who catch the bus at this location the City has budgeted for the installation of a bus shelter and is seeking feedback from parents regarding the potential inclusion of bike racks in the project to encourage active transport.

On Wednesday 13 November 2024 from 7.15am to 8.15am, City staff will be on site to discuss the project. Information regarding the project including links to this page will be handed out on the day.

Parents and carers of school aged children who either currently use the bus service or will be using it in the near future will be able to provide their feedback on the project using our online form here

The deadline to provide feedback will be 9am on 25 November 2024.
