Dust will fly and whips will crack at the 2018 Mullewa Muster and Rodeo this weekend!

Back for another year, all the crowd favourite events return with everything from the Beaut Ute and Whip Crackin’ competitions, plus live entertainment from Travis Collins, Amber Lawrence, both supported by Renegade.

Mullewa will also host the 2018 Australian Bushmen's Campdraft and Rodeo Association (ABCRA) full points Rodeo which will see individuals travel from all over WA plus many from interstate to battle it out for $35,300 in prize money.

City of Greater Geraldton Mayor Shane Van Styn said the Mullewa Muster was a favourite in the local events calendar.

“Mullewa will be pumping on the WA Day long weekend and we are expecting thousands from around the state to attend the event,” he said.

“The Mullewa Muster has really cemented itself as a premier event in a region and the feedback and attendance is testament to this.

“There’s everything from barrel racing, whip cracking competitions, live entertainment, finger-licking good food and so much more so I hope everyone will head out and support this great event.”

As well as all the crowd favourites, there will be performances and have-a-go workshops from high-energy circus entertainment performer Ricochet Circus, as well as bubble soccer, pony rides, face painting and leather craft workshops.

The Mullewa Muster Rodeo will take place on Saturday 2 June at the Mullewa Recreation Grounds.

Free camping is available at the grounds and there is also an extra overflow area which will be available.

Tickets will be available on the day at the main gate. For more information visit http://www.mullewamuster.com.au/
