Tree pruning in CBD

The City of Greater Geraldton wishes to advise that tree pruning works will be conducted within the CBD from Monday 13 May.

Works will take approximately three weeks to complete and be conducted at various hours between 5:30am – 2pm.

The works are scheduled to start at 5:30am to minimise pedestrian and vehicle disruption.

Pedestrian and traffic management will be in place between 5:30am – 2:30pm at the following locations: 

  • Marine Terrace
  • Durlacher Street
  • Cathedral Avenue
  • Fitzgerald Street
  • Foreshore Drive
  • Chapman Road
  • Forrest Street 

No motorised chainsaw or woodchipper operation will commence before 7am.

Members of the community are requested to exercise caution and obey all warning signs and directions from authorised City personnel and contractors.
