Firebreak and Slashing Contractors
Fire prevention measures throughout the City of Greater Geraldton including slashing/mowing of vacant blocks and creating firebreaks on larger properties must be completed by 4 October and maintained throughout the summer months until the May the following year. Check your Annual Fire Hazard Reduction Notice for the exact date.

The engagement of a contractor is an agreement between the landowner and the contractor. Landowners are advised to consider whether a contractor has appropriate qualifications, competence and insurance applicable to the nature of the work.
