Autumn has arrived and so has the ever-popular School Holiday Program with some exciting brand new additions.

Returning with activities for young people, the City of Greater Geraldton has collated a fun variety of events to ensure there are no shortage of activities over the Easter break.

City of Greater Geraldton Mayor Jerry Clune is thrilled to unveil the newest Program.

“The autumn holidays are always a wonderful time around the city and I’m happy to share the many activities young people in the region can get up to these holidays,” he said.

“Be sure to get involved with as many activities as possible before the rainy winter weather arrives.”

The Aboriginal Artwork and Mullewa Youth Sculpture Exhibition kicks off the program and is open almost weekly from late March through to April.

Some new additions to this season’s line-up include Manta Ray Wax Painting, Spotty Crab Painting and Scrapyard Tinkering.

Other holiday favourites are back including the Skate Skills Clinic, Clay Sculpting and Cardmaking.

The City would like to thank Rio Tinto for their support of the program through the Youth Vibrancy Partnership.

Registrations for many of these events are essential via Humanitix and details can be found on the City’s website.

In addition to the City run events on the physical program, a variety of additional events hosted by external providers can also be found on the City’s events calendar.
