Francis Street Finger Jetty

Current Jetty

In March 2016, the Francis Street Finger jetty was demolished and replaced with a 39m long and 1.3m wide stepped deck jetty that provides improved access to users including people with mobility impairments.

The stepped deck that decreases in height the further out you go makes it easier for people to board or disembark from boats and other recreational water craft from the jetty.

The total cost of the project was approximately $484,000 which was co-funded by the Department of Transport Recreational Boating Facilities Scheme and the City of Greater Geraldton.   More here
