Disaster Recovery Project Officer (REF: 614) (12 month fixed term contract)

Western Australian State Government AWARE Grant Funded Project

The City is seeking a motivated and suitable person to assist the Mid-West Gascoyne District Emergency Management Committee in leading Local Governments towards a fast and effective recovery following an emergency event through the provision of concepts, knowledge and resources.

The successful applicant must be experienced in emergency, recovery and project management and ideally hold formal qualifications in emergency management.

A salary of $69,923 per annum or $35.38 per hour will be offered dependent on knowledge, skills, experience and qualifications.

Environmental Health Officer (REF: 70)

The Environmental Health Officer position is a part of a dedicated team responsible for promoting and monitoring environmental health standards in the City of Greater Geraldton.

You will be required to undertake regulatory inspections under relevant environmental and public health legislation. Key functions of this position will include but not be limited to the inspection of food premises, skin penetration premises, hairdressers, swimming and spa pools, on-site sewage managements systems and investigating environmental and public health complaints.

The Environmental Health Officer position encourages applicants with lesser qualifications or applicants undertaking studies towards required qualifications, as outlined in the job description, will also be considered.

A salary range for the Environmental Health Officer role of $65,980 - $74,174 per annum will be offered dependent on knowledge, skills, experience and qualifications.
