Spring Trash and Treasure

Saturday 15 September 9am - noon

Queen Elizabeth II Seniors & Community Centre

The Spring Trash and Treasure is the perfect opportunity to clear the household of unwanted items with the opportunity of making some cash and what better way than doing it than with a big market audience.

Why not get a stall organised with your local club or group or family and friends and clear away those items gathering dust and make some handy cash.

The event is designed to promote attitudinal change to waste by reusing which effectively reduces the amount of waste that may otherwise become landfill.

The City will also have suitable recycling bins available so at the end of day if you chose to not lug home unwanted items they can be responsibly discarded.

The City will provide music entertainment, kids activities and organise onsite food so why not do that spring clean and be part of a community event.

You can load up your vehicle including a trailer to park on Queens Park outside the Centre and we will provide all stallholders with a trestle and chairs or if you prefer you can set up a stall inside the Centre. The cost is just $10 payable on the day and a portion of the proceeds go to charity and all stallholders go in a draw for cash prizes drawn on the day.

You must fill in a booking form and submit to participate as a stallholder before 13 September. Please do not just roll up on the day without booking as you will be turned away.

Stallholders can set up from 7am and must arrive no later than 8.15am and set up ready for sales at 9am. Outside sellers enter with vehicle alongside the Geraldton Band building on Durlacher St and inside sellers can park in the Centre carpark. Event personnel will allocate and direct you to a space on your arrival. For all enquiries before the event, please contact the event coordinator on 9956 6684 or frederickb@cgg.wa.gov.au

Stall registration has now closed, sorry!
