Expressions of Interest - Food vans for Australia Day

The City of Greater Geraldton is seeking expressions of interest for any Food Vans interested in trading along the Foreshore on Australia Day 2021.

The Australia Day celebrations are planned to proceed, in accordance with the Department of Health Covid-19 event Guidelines.

For this Year’s Australia Day Celebrations, there will be a limited amount of sites available, due to the celebrations taking place in an altered format.  

All food van trading sites will now be set on the outside of a new fenced event area.

All food van trading site allocations, will be within a 5 minute walk of the event site.

All applicants will be required to display the Stow Gardens WASafe QR CODE and comply with Department of Health

All applicants will also be required to display a Food and Licensed Venues Covid 19 Safety Plan and provide sanitizer facilities for all patrons. Please see: COVID-19-Safety-Plan-Phase-4-Food-Businesses-and-Licensed-Premises_0.pdf (www.wa.gov.au)

Upon higher than expected demand for this event, site allocation will be completed via a ballot system.

All applicants must contact events@cgg.wa.gov.au to register interest in trading on Australia Day 2021 by COB 12 January 2021.
