Daily update: City facility close contact COVID-19 exposure site

The City of Greater Geraldton wishes to advise the following facility has been identified as a close contact COVID-19 exposure site:

  • Geraldton Aquarena – Tuesday 15 March 2022 – 5.30am – 9.30am as well as 3.30pm – 6.30pm

The Department of Health’s advice for a close contact, regardless of vaccination status, is to test immediately and follow close contact isolation procedures to limit the spread of COVID-19. The individuals deemed close contacts have been contacted by the City.

Those who visited the facility and have not been contacted by the Department of Health or the City, are advised to monitor for symptoms and if symptoms develop to get tested and isolate.

Local PCR testing is currently available at the following locations:

  • Geraldton Health Campus
  • Batavia Health Respiratory Clinic
  • GRAMS Rifle Range Road

The City is following all COVID-19 guidelines and maintaining cleaning regimes.

The facility remains open to the public at this stage and opening hours may be adjusted in the future.
