Coastal brushing event at Pages Beach

The City of Greater Geraldton wishes to advise that a community “Coastal Brushing” event will take place on Tuesday 18 February between 9.30am to 12pm at Pages Beach, West End.

The placement of brushing will help reduce the movement of sand and improve beach access. This event is partly funded by a Western Australian Planning Commission Coastwest Grant.

In preparation for the event, on Monday 17 February contractors will be collecting and stockpiling brushing in a section of the Pages Beach Park. The anticipated hours of work for the stockpiling will be between 7am and 6pm.

Beach access will not be impacted for the duration of the works and during the event. Members of the community are requested to exercise caution and obey all warning signs and directions from authorised City personnel and contractors.

The City apologises for any inconvenience these works may cause.

If you have any queries please contact the City on (08) 9956 6600 or email council@cgg.wa.gov.au.
