Cathedral Avenue Maitland Street roundabout night works

The City of Greater Geraldton wishes to advise safety improvements to the Cathedral Avenue and Maitland Street roundabout will begin the week of Monday 8 May 2023 for a period of approximately two weeks.

Works include increasing the radius of the roundabout from 5m to 7m and modifications to the bicycle and prams ramps.  The resealing of the intersection will take place in early June.

The night works will take place from 6.00pm-6.00am under a full road closure with detours in place.

The $232,000 project is joint funded with the State Government Blackspot Program providing $155,000 and the City $77,000.

Members of the community are requested to exercise caution and obey all warning signs and directions from authorised City personnel and contractors.
