Cancellation of January Council Agenda Forum

The City of Greater Geraldton wishes to advise the January Council Agenda Forum Meeting, scheduled for 19 January, has been cancelled. 

Due to the small size and content of the draft agenda it has been decided that to hold the Agenda Forum would not be an effective use of resources.

The January Council Agenda will now be solely considered at the Ordinary Council Meeting scheduled for Wednesday 27 January 2021 at 5pm in Council Chambers. 

The Local Government Act 1995 only requires Councils to hold an Ordinary Meeting. The City’s convention of holding Agenda Forums is an optional addition established to ensure effective decision making.  

As always, public question time will be available at Council’s Ordinary Meeting to be held on Wednesday 27 January 2021.
