Geraldton’s favourite way to see out the weekend is set to return, when Sundays by the Sea strolls back into Stow Gardens for summer 2022.
City of Greater Geraldton Mayor Shane Van Styn was delighted to welcome back the popular program.
“Sundays by the Sea is a lovely afternoon out that the community has embraced since 2016,” he said.
“We are spoiled when it comes to both local musical talent and culinary delights, and it’s great to be able showcase it at a venue that boasts the gorgeous Geraldton Foreshore as a backdrop.”
Sundays by the Sea is a free, all ages event that takes place from 4.30pm until 7.30pm. A food van will be in attendance each week from 4.30pm and music will commence from 5pm.
The summer season will run weekly from 9 January until 1 May 2022 (excluding Public Holidays).
Musicians and food vendors keen to be added to the schedule are encouraged to put in an expression of interest. Head to cgg.wa.gov.au/sundaysbythesea to learn more.
Applications close at 9am on Wednesday 1 December 2021.
