Keep your cool this long hot summer by picking up the latest edition of the City of Greater Geraldton School Holiday Program.
The School Holiday Program – a combined effort between the City and external providers – will fire up from Friday 18 December.
City of Greater Geraldton Mayor Shane Van Styn was pleased to reveal yet another program packed with fresh ideas.
“Keeping kids entertained over January holidays is made easier with this collection of activities for all ages,” he said.
“It’s just another reason why Geraldton is the perfect place to spend the summer break!”
New to the program is Paint the Summer, where youngsters will team up with local artist Phil Doncon to create a mural on the water tank at Glendinning Park.
City staples are once again on the menu, with soccer clinics, Pokemon Go walking tours, Dungeons and Dragons sessions as well as sunset and sunrise yoga classes all scheduled to run during the break.
Friday Films will also see a return to Stow Gardens on the Geraldton Foreshore, with a free screenings of ‘Missing Link’ on Friday 8 January and ‘Scoob!’ on Friday 15 January.
Sports lovers can join in on croquet, golf and tennis clinics and camps, learn how to surf or even take part in a kids triathlon.
