The City of Greater Geraldton wishes to advise it will be resurfacing sections of roads located in Mahomets Flats, Karloo, Beresford and the West End with works scheduled to begin at all eight locations on Thursday 9 August 2018 for a period of two weeks.
Works will be undertaken in the following locations:
Mahomets Flats:
- Ben Ledi Way
- Zuytdorp Court cul-de-sac
- Zeewyck Court cul-de-sac
- Intersection of Zeewyck Court and McAleer Drive
- Both Zuytdorp Court cul-de-sacs
Karloo: Aaron Close cul-de-sac.
Beresford: Intersection of George Road and Abrolhos Street.
West End: Zodiac Lane cul-de-sac.
These works are part of $ 3,965,000 allocated in the 2018/19 Budget for road renewals, which will see approximately 12.5km of the roads resurfaced.
The anticipated hours of work will be from 7am to 6pm and traffic management will be in place during this time. Members of the community are requested to exercise caution and obey all warning signs and directions from authorised City personnel and contractors.
