Thousands will flock to the Foreshore to rock out with The Veronicas and San Cisco for the WoW Fest Concert thanks to generous support from RedFM.

RedFM have come on board to sponsor the pinnacle event of the Wind on Water Festival, which will take place on Sunday 22 April.

The radio station will also bring morning show hosts Alana and Robbie to MC the concert, which along with the main acts, will feature local band Songbird.

City of Greater Geraldton Mayor Shane Van Styn said RedFM are helping to bring Geraldton’s next biggest concert to the community.

“People from all over the state as well as a local crowd will pack the Foreshore for the WoW Fest Concert and we thank RedFM for their very generous support to make this happen,” he said.

“We can’t bring amazing events to our community without local support like this.

“I hope everyone gets down and supports the event.”

The Wind on Water Festival will take place over two days on April 21 and 22 with the Concert culminating the event on Sunday evening.

Seven West Media’s Midwest Regional Manager Jason McCarthy said he jumped at the chance to get on board the event.

“We know how much the community loves live music and we are proud to be able to help bring that here to the Midwest,” he said.

“Our very own presenters Alana and Robbie will also be at the Concert to keep the crowd entertained between acts.

“It’s a massive coup for Geraldton and we can’t wait to welcome The Veronicas and San Cisco and we hope the community joins us.”

Tickets for the Concert are still available for $25 at www.wowfest.com.au

Along with the Concert, festival-goers can enjoy a swag of events over the weekend including String Symphony, extreme water sports, a sand sculpture, kite displays, sunset entertainment fireworks and heaps more.

The two-day WoW Festival is jointly funded by the Australian Government's Building Better Regions Fund and the City of Greater Geraldton.
