Programming at the QEII Seniors and Community Centre will be temporarily suspended starting Monday 30 March but the Centre will remain open.

Community health and safety remains a top priority for the City of Greater Geraldton as the global Coronavirus outbreak continues to be monitored closely.

The QEII Seniors Advisory Committee met today, and made the decision to stop programs at the Centre with the last day of programming - next Friday 27 March, until further notice.

Programs include Gentle Gym and other exercise programs, art and music classes, support groups and lessons. A full list of programs can be found here.

The Committee have advised that while programs will be suspended, the Centre will stay open for seniors to still come in for a cup of tea, read a book or have a chat.

Necessary chairs and tables in the lower hall will be set up for this.
