A recent survey by the Department of Communities has revealed that customer satisfaction at the QEII Seniors and Community Centre remains at an all-time high.

The Customer Perception Survey 2019-20 was completed by 207 service users, with a staggering 99% of participants saying they were happy with the service received at the centre.

City of Greater Geraldton Mayor Shane Van Styn was not surprised to hear the results continue to impress.

“The QEII Centre has consistently proven to be an invaluable asset to the community, even more so now with the uncertainty of the COVID-19 pandemic affecting everyone from all walks of life,” he said.

“Learning that 94% of users have obtained useful information at the centre, 93% of users felt the service made a good difference to their lives and an astounding 99% of participants would recommend the service to others reinforces just how important the QEII Centre is to the Midwest.”

Comments left on the survey highlighted the positive impacts the centre has on both physical and mental health, with many praising how the programs helped maintain fitness levels and provided ample opportunities to meet and socialise with others.

The Customer Perception Survey is issued annually by the Department of Communities to those who receive funding and is designed to evaluate the outcomes of the service and identify opportunities for further improvement.

The QEII Seniors and Community Centre is conveniently located in the central business district close to the post office and shopping centre on Durlacher Street.
