It’s almost “that time of the month” at the Queens Park Theatre (QPT) but it will be far from painful when the hilarious performance My Greatest Period Ever hits the stage.

Lucy Peach and her husband Richard’s show has been described as heartfelt, informative and highly comical as they discuss menstruation through live illustrations and folk music.

City of Greater Geraldton Deputy Mayor Tarleah Thomas said it was going to be a good laugh.

“This is a show a lot of women will relate to and will put a funny spin on what can be on a not so fun time,” she said.

“Get your girlfriends together for an entertaining night at the QPT and learn about Lucy’s hacks to have the greatest period ever.”

Formerly a human biology teacher and sexual health educator, Lucy Peach aims to change perceptions and attitudes with her show My Greatest Period Ever.

The show is part of the QPT’s Stage Door Pass Performances and is suitable for audiences 14 years and older.

Doors open at 6.30pm with the show starting at 7.30pm on Saturday 29 February, which happens to be on the leap year date. Tickets are $25 for adults and $18 for those under 25 years of age.

This performance is made possible through Raise the Roof Funding from Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries.
