Geraldton’s balmy evenings are about to get a whole lot better with live music and food on the Foreshore as Sundays by the Sea returns for 2023!

Encompassing everything we love about Geraldton, there’s no better way to enjoy a sunset than with family and friends, a picnic and good vibes in Stow Gardens.

Kickstarting on Sunday 15 January, City of Greater Geraldton Mayor Shane Van Styn said a stellar line-up of local musicians has been locked in for another epic Sundays by the Sea series.

“This is why the lifestyle here in Geraldton is so amazing – sitting near the ocean, watching a beautiful sunset with family and friends all while listening to some awesome local talent,” he said.

“It doesn’t get much better!

“So make sure you end your weekends the right way, invite your friends and let the kids dance and have a great time!”

Sundays by the Sea is a free, all ages event that takes place weekly on a Sunday afternoon in Stow Gardens - with a different local performer and food van each week.

The series will begin on 15 January and go through until 14 May 2023 (excluding Public Holidays and Shore Leave weekend on 30 April).

From 15 January to 19 March, food will commence from 4:30pm with music from 5-7pm. And from 26 March onwards, food will commence from 3:30pm with music from 4-6pm.

Sundays by the Sea is made possible through part funding from Rio Tinto for the City’s Youth Vibrancy Officer role.
