If you’ve thought about entering ArtDrive but have never got around to it, now’s the time to do so because expressions of interest are open for the 2018 event!

Community members, artists, schools and groups are encouraged to participate and create an installation, which represents this year’s theme Desert meets the Sea.

City of Greater Geraldton Mayor Shane Van Styn said he was looking forward to ArtDrive returning.

“ArtDrive is such a great community arts initiative that brings people together to create and explore,” he said.

“This is the third time the project has gone ahead and the initiative continues to grow so we’re looking forward to building on it this year.

“If you’ve thought about entering but something has held you back, now is the time to express your interest and get on board ArtDrive 2018!”

Due to ArtDrive’s popularity, 30 applicants will be selected and receive $200 to contribute to the cost of materials.

Expressions of interest can be made via the City’s website and close at 9am on Monday 9 April.

The popular self-drive tour officially kicks off on Sunday 29 July and will take explorers on a trip through Greenough, Walkaway, Tenindewa, Moonyoonooka and Mullewa.
