Geraldton’s popular School Holiday Program has returned for the Easter break, with a line-up of all your favourite events and a simplified layout.

City of Greater Geraldton Mayor Shane Van Styn shared why it was time for a face lift.

“The School Holiday Program has proven to be popular so we’ve had to change up the layout,” he said.

“We want to make sure we’re providing you with the most up to date information – especially in these uncertain times - so we have moved many of the listings online.

“That means the printed version may look smaller; but you can rest assured there are still plenty of events happening for kids of all ages these holidays – just head to our website to find out more!”

Kids who want to keep active can take advantage of soccer clinics, skate skills clinic, Sunset Yoga and even wheelchair basketball.

For those kids that want to explore their creative side, Dungeons and Dragons, cupcake decorating classes, low tox potion party and Succulent Kiss workshops have also made a return to the program.

Both Geraldton Regional Art Gallery and Geraldton Regional Library are hosting a variety of intriguing events, from Easter crafts and critter workshops, to even something unique like the how to be a digital superstar session! Registration is essential for these events.

Additional listings by external providers can also be found on the City’s website.

Some of these great events include the CityHive drop-in space, Abrolhos Adventures fast ferry tours, writing sessions at Greenough Museum and Gardens, tennis and surfing lessons and even crafting galore at the Scrapbook House.
