The City of Greater Geraldton wishes to advise all public toilets will re-open from Wednesday 20 May 2020.
After April’s Council Meeting, the City began trialling re-opening some public toilets and now all toilets in Geraldton and Mullewa will be open.
Community members are advised to follow hygiene standards by taking hand sanitiser where possible and to respect the facilities in order to keep them open.
Community health and safety has always been, and remains, a top priority for the City as the current health crisis continues to be monitored closely and the situation changes rapidly.
The community is reminded to help stop the spread and keep facilities open by complying with the required restrictions that will be in place at many City facilities.
It’s crucial that in this next step people remain patient and respect the implemented measures to ensure we can get back to normal as quick as possible.
Information will be released in a timely manner as more decisions are made about facilities and services, and there will be updates on the City’s website and social media channels.
