Get out those gardening gloves and be part of the green transformation of our City by joining our Million Trees Community Planting Day on the Beresford Foreshore on Sunday 18 July 2021.

City of Greater Geraldton Mayor Shane Van Styn said planting days give members of the community the opportunity to make a difference.

“Planting seedlings is one of the easiest ways to make a positive impact on the environment,” he said.

“Every year community groups, schools, organisations and local businesses plant thousands of seedlings in our coastal and bushland reserves.

“Thanks to their dedication we are not only improving the environment we are greening our City at the same time.

“If you too would like to make a difference, you won’t want to miss this family friendly event.

So grab a mate, your partner and your kids and join us from 10am to noon.  Meet at the Chapman Road carpark across from Mitchell and Brown.  Please wear suitable clothes and footwear. Bring your own gloves and a water bottle. No gardening experience required.
