If you’ve never been to the Aquarena before and want to learn more about what this fantastic facility has on offer - this Sunday is your chance!

The Aquarena is hosting its second Swim School Open Day, a fun packed day for the whole family plus information about other available programs.

City of Greater Geraldton Mayor Shane Van Styn said the day is all about water fun and safety.

“We know water safety is paramount to parents and the Aquarena’s Swim School plays a critical role in teaching children how to swim,” he said.

“The Open Day provides parents with the opportunity have their child’s swimming ability assessed for free and ask questions to ensure their child will get the best out of learning to swim in the new infants and preschool aquatics program.

“The Aquarena also has a lot of great programs on offer including the Super Sharks squad which everyone is welcome to come and try.

“There will also be heaps of fun activities, giveaways with the giant inflatables BIFF and SMIFF open too.”

The Open Day will take place on Sunday 20 October from 1pm-4pm with free entry for participants who fill out a customer inquiry form.
