If you’ve ever wanted to learn more about what is on offer at the Aquarena – this Saturday is your chance!
The Aquarena is hosting a Swim School Open Day which will include fun for the whole family plus information about other available programs.
Parents will have access to drop-in Swim School assessments to gauge what swimming stage their child is at as well as learning about the new infants and preschool aquatics program.
City of Greater Geraldton Mayor Shane Van Styn said parents would benefit from the information provided at the Open Day.
“We’ve always had a very big push on water safety and we know that parents are always very eager to enrol their children into the Aquarena’s Swim School,” he said.
“There are a lot of great programs on offer at the pool including the Super Sharks squad and our Junior Lifeguard program.
“The Open Day gives parents the chance to come and learn more, plus ask questions to ensure their child is getting the best out of learning to swim.”
The Open Day will also include come and try Junior Lifeguard club and learning Super Sharks squad swimming drills.
There will also be heaps of fun activities, giveaways with the BIFF and waterslide open. Those who complete a customer enquiry form will receive free entry from 10am-1pm.
