Midwest organisations on the hunt for a financial boost can now apply for the City of Greater Geraldton’s newest round of Community Grants.
This latest funding opportunity is intended for local not-for-profit community groups, clubs and organisations to implement projects, activities and programs that enhance and promote community wellbeing.
City of Greater Geraldton Mayor Shane Van Styn said the City’s Community Grants could provide many groups with a much needed helping hand.
“The Community Grants program continues to go from strength to strength providing eligible applicants with financial assistance for programs, events, activities and new equipment,” he said.
“This round the City is offering to fund up to 50% of a total project cost up to a maximum of $20,000.
“Helping these groups to level up is one of the most important services the City performs in increasing the liveability of our region.”
Assistance is once again also being provided for groups who wish to have their draft reviewed before putting forward their final applications.
Draft applications must be submitted no later than Sunday 5 February 2023 and the final deadline for submissions is 5pm Wednesday 22 February 2023.
For a full list of the eligibility requirements, please refer to the Community Funding Programs Guidelines and access the City’s online grant information site here.
