Summer is back and so is the City’s biggest pool party of the year - the Spirit Radio Great Northern Rural Services Aquarena Family Fun Day!
The popular annual event returns for another year with a long list of activities for all ages including the giant pool inflatables, inflatable beach volleyball, waterslides, Tarzan rope, face painting and an animal petting zoo.
City of Greater Geraldton Mayor Shane Van Styn invited everyone to come out and enjoy the afternoon party.
“I can’t think of a better way to bring in the summer than to grab the kids and head on down to the Aquarena for a Sunday afternoon filled with fun and entertainment,” he said.
“From 12 noon Spirit Radio will be broadcasting tunes pool side while local dance groups All Things Dance, Cheer and Dance Intensity and Dance Industries 881 will be setting the pace with live performances.
“There will also be loads of giveaways, games to join in on and the café will have lots of tasty snacks and treats for the whole family.
“The jam-packed event is so popular that even Santa and Cray-Zee will be making an appearance.”
The Spirit Radio Great Northern Rural Services Aquarena Family Fun Day will take place on Sunday 9 December from 12pm to 4pm and is just $2 entry per person. An adult must accompany all children under 10 years of age.
