Youth Haiku Poetry Competition

As part of a public artwork the City of Greater Geraldton will be incorporating 3 haiku poems into an artwork by local artist Roxanne Grant on the Geraldton Foreshore in the City's new Event precinct. The poems will feed out of cast shoes in a line of text and footprints to provide a short impression of life in Geraldton in the form of a short poems.

The competition closed on 29 August and the City congratulates the 3 winners chosen to be included in the artwork seen here with Cr Steve Douglas after receiving their $200 prize money and certificates.
