The Flaming Galahs - Seniors' Concert 2018

Past Event

Enjoy the annual Seniors' Concert marking the opening of 2018 SENIORS' WEEK.
The City of Greater Geraldton Seniors Committee and Queens Park Theatre are delighted to present THE FLAMING GALAHS.

THE FLAMING GALAHS is the brand new show celebrating the music of Australia from hundreds of years ago to current hits!
Monty Cotton and Adam ‘Spaghetti Fingers’ (upright bass and banjo!) will take us along a cracking Australian musical timeline with classics from Banjo Paterson, Slim Dusty, John Williamson, Hunters and Collectors, John Farnham, Crowded House, and more!

See how many instruments you can count - there will be guitars, banjos, double bass, ukulele's, kazoos, spoons, and maybe even something special from the Northern Territory!
Plenty of singing, make sure you warm up your voices!

Please be seated 10 minutes before the start for the welcome by the Mayor of City of Greater Geraldton and the Official Opening of 2018 Seniors' Week.
"THE FLAMING GALAHS - Great Australian Songbook" performance will start at 2pm, for approximately 80 minutes.
Afternoon tea will be served after the show in the QPT foyer.
All tickets are $20
