About the facilitator

This workshop is facilitated by WACRH’s Mental Health Academic Chantal Crinquand, who comes from a mental health nursing and counselling background. Chantal has extensive experience in facilitating mental health workshops.

Vicarious Trauma
Date: 21 July or 7 September 2020
Time: 9am to 10:30am
In this interactive 1.5 hour workshop you will learn to: identify the differences between burnout/stress, compassion fatigue & vicarious trauma (VT); the impact of VT on health, education & welfare workers; how to identify it in yourself; & what to do. Cost: FREE

Work Life Balance
Date: 29 July 2020
Time: 9am to 10:30am
In this 1.5 hour workshop we examine what causes disharmony in work life balance & explore strategies to restore harmony.
Cost: FREE

Standard Mental Health First Aid
Date: 17 & 18 August 2020
Time: 9am to 4pm
This accredited 2-day workshop is effective in improving mental health literacy, reducing stigma and increasing helping behaviours.
Cost: $150

Mental Health First Aid Refresher
Date: 31 August 2020
Time: 9am to 1pm
Accredited MHFAiders can renew their accreditation for a further three years.
Cost: $50
