Capital Works, Renewals and Maintenance requests

The City of Greater Geraldton will annually review the Capital works and renewals projects that are associated with the 15 City managed sporting facilities. Ground Management Committees have the opportunity to submit their projects using the nomination forms below.

Please also see definition of capital, renewals and maintenance to ensure each nomination is accurate.

Please Note - Capital works and renewal applications will only be accepted if submitted by the Chairman of your respective Ground Management Committee (GMC). No other submissions will be accepted.

Definitions:

New Projects - Expenditure which creates a new asset providing a new service to the community that did not exist beforehand.

Asset Renewal - Expenditure on an existing asset, which returns the service potential or the life of the asset up to that which it had originally. As it reinstates existing service potential, it has no impact on revenue, but may reduce future operating and maintenance expenditure if completed at the optimum time.

Maintenance - Landscape maintenance (or grounds keeping) is the art and vocation of keeping a landscape healthy, clean, safe and attractive, typically in a garden, yard, park, institutional setting or estate.

Please email request to council@cgg.wa.gov.au and works will be lodged with the appropriate City Officer. In the initial instance, contact your Ground Management Committee representative who will lodge the work request on your clubs behalf (GMC).
