It is estimated that between 9,000 and 15,000 bikes are stolen each year in WA. In response to this, the Crime Stoppers WA Bikelinc program helps the WA Police Force reunite local people with their lost or stolen bikes.
The City of Greater Geraldton is joining other local governments to partner with Crime Stoppers WA on their Bikelinc program formally. This Bikelinc Incentive Project will commence on 1 February 2021 and run until the end of March 2021. The City aims to have 1,000 bikes connected to Bikelinc throughout the project.
