Payment methods
Rates payments can be made via:
- Online from our website using your credit card
- BPAY
- Australia Post
- In person
- Direct Debit from your bank account (where approved)
Online
Pay rates online at BPoint using your credit card. You will be taken to the secure BPoint payments site.
BPAY
BPAY is a payment option available via online and phone banking. You must contact your bank to set up BPAY. A minimum payment amount is $10
Australia Post
Pay in person at any post office, by phone on 131816, or at the Australia Post online payments site.
You can find your nearest outlet at the Australia Post Office locator.
To pay your rates by mail, send the bottom section of the rates notice with a cheque payable to:

Allow time for mail delivery and processing.
In person
Visit our Main Administration Centre - 63 Cathedral Avenue, Geraldton
or Mullewa District Office -Cnr Padbury & Thomas Streets, Mullewa
to pay your rates by cash, cheque, EFTPOS or credit card (Visa or MasterCard accepted only)
Direct Debit
With your permission, this arrangement plan allows your bank to transfer agreed amounts to Council for your rates payment. To have an arrangement plan you need to:
- have a cheque or savings account
- complete the direct debit application form below and send it to Council
