Phil Doncon's unique ‘live’ painting performances are vigorous and dynamic. He creates rapid fire images while leaping and twirling, moving flat-out in unison to diverse sound tracks. Phil says “a paint brush moving at speed has a spontaneity that cannot be prearranged. My approach is to move quickly, to have courage, to risk failure in order to make breakthroughs in both art and life”. He describes that painting has a quality of freedom that leads people into new areas of expression and creativity. Make sure you check him out on Australia Day!
