The IBM Smarter Cities Challenge

The IBM Smarter Cities Challenge is a three-year, 100 cities, $50 million grants program through the company’s philanthropic arm. The (in-kind) grants are valued at about US$400,000 using the considerable expertise of IBM employees who intensively research projects nominated by the chosen recipient.
