Youth'n'Motion

Youth’n’Motion is the Youth Team under the Department of Creative
Communities of the City of Geraldton-Greenough. Youth’n’Motion currently
runs a number of programs including the award winning Midnight
Basketball. Youth’n’Motion also operates a mobile youth space that
visits the different suburbs in an effort to engage the youth and
establish strong relationships with the parents.
We believe…
… that every young person has the right to be brought up in a safe,
caring, encouraging and challenging environment where they are given the
opportunity to become everything they can be, reaching their full
potential in life.
… that the youth are an integral part of the makeup of our community and
that the old but true idea that, the youth of today are tomorrows
leaders, is something we need to take seriously.
Vision
To grow and develop the youth in our City and region into healthy,
responsible, wholesome and active adults and citizens.
Mission
To provide an environment of real opportunity by giving the youth
appropriate
and relevant challenges, education and opportunity that will empower
them to:
1. recognise and
2. develop their potential to the full
making them the best adults, citizens and leaders they can be.
