The Community Infrastructure Department is headed by the Director of Community Infrastructure, Mr Syd Jerram.

The Director has a team of officers who carry out instructions that have been delegated to him by the Council or actions that need to be complied with as a result of statutory requirements. The services that are carried out by Community Infrastructure staff are quite numerous;

• Works – Roadworks, Pathway Construction, Intersection Up-Grades, Drainage, Works, Signage Installations and Car-Park Improvements.
• Foreshore Development
• Sanitation – Provision and Maintenance of Public Facilities.
• Parks – Development and Maintenance of the City’s Parks and Reserves.
• Technical – Designing Major Infrastructure, Planning and Applying for Funding for Projects, Crossover Applications, Planning Approvals and Reinstatements.
• Asset Management – Manage the City’s Infrastructure Assets including Roads, Parks, Buildings, Pathways and Drainage.
