Beaches

 

 

Flat Rocks: is a great all rounder beach. Deep blue waters rolling into white sandy shores. South of the Greenough Hamlet. Ablution block, car park.
Usage: FISHING & SURFING (left hand over reef some rights – no wind protection)

Lucy's Beach: may be accessed by 4WD (sign posted), located off Company Road just West of the Greenough Hamlet.
Usage: FISHING & 4WDing

Greenough River Beach , is the spot to throw in a line. Good rock, beach and river fishing. Another great surfing spot, beachcombing and swimming.
BBQ’s, car beach access
Usage: FAMILIES, SWIMMING, SURFING & FISHING – walking distance to town over 2.5 hours along the coast.

Southgates Beach , car access.
Usage: FISHING, 4Wding & SAND BOARDING

Tarcoola Beach: Yet another great area for all recreational activities, look for the big white sand dune. Flagged swimming areas, dogs on leads, no vehicles, surf club.

Sunset: Ablution blocks, car park – walking distance to town 40 mins.
Usage: Summer windsurfing, winter surfing and Fishing for taylor.

Glenfield Beach: Surfing (beach break with moving sand banks – lefts and rights to be had) 4Wding, walking distance to town 2 hours.

Drummonds Cove: found in North Greenough is another great beach for all activities. BBQ’s, public toilets and great fishing. Surf the point for experienced riders.
